Question 1

How do I place an order?

Accepted Answer

Browse our store, add items to your cart, and check out with your delivery details. You can also order by phone or WhatsApp at +94 71 708 0900 if you'd rather speak to someone directly.

Question 2

Do I need an account to order?

Accepted Answer

No — you can check out as a guest. Creating an account just lets you track past orders and earn loyalty points on future purchases.

Question 3

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

Contact us as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp with your order number. We can usually amend or cancel an order before it's dispatched — once it's handed to the courier, it falls under our Returns & Refund Policy instead.

Question 4

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Cash on Delivery, Bank Transfer, and online payment via PayHere (cards), MintPay and KokoPay (interest-free instalments), plus Thyaga gift vouchers where applicable.

Question 5

Is online payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Card and instalment payments are processed by PCI-compliant gateways (PayHere, MintPay, KokoPay) — we never see or store your full card details.

Question 6

Do online payment methods have extra fees?

Accepted Answer

Some gateways add a small processing fee (typically 2.5–8%, shown clearly at checkout before you confirm). Cash on Delivery and Bank Transfer have no extra fee.

Question 7

Do you deliver island-wide?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we ship all over Sri Lanka via courier. Estimated delivery: Colombo 1–2 business days, suburbs 2–3 days, outstation areas 3–5 days.

Question 8

Do you ship abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we ship worldwide by tracked courier, so you can send Sri Lankan batik to friends and family overseas. Choose the country at checkout to see the delivery charge and estimated time.

Question 9

Which currency will I pay in?

Accepted Answer

Switch between LKR and USD at the top of the page. Orders in USD are charged in USD by card (PayHere); LKR orders can use any of our payment methods. Cash on Delivery is available in Sri Lanka only.

Question 10

Can I get my order urgently?

Accepted Answer

Please contact us before ordering if you need an item urgently and we will let you know the fastest option for your area.

Question 11

How much is shipping?

Accepted Answer

Shipping is calculated by destination and order weight at checkout, and is shown before you pay.

Question 12

Can I track my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — once dispatched you'll receive a tracking number by SMS/email, and you can check order status anytime from My Account.

Question 13

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

Items can be returned within 7 days of delivery if unworn, unwashed and in their original condition with tags attached. Custom-made or altered items can't be returned. Full details are on our Returns & Refund Policy page.

Question 14

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?

Accepted Answer

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We'll arrange a free pickup and provide a full replacement or refund at no extra cost.

Question 15

How should I care for batik?

Accepted Answer

Hand wash or gently machine wash in cold water, separately for the first few washes, and dry in the shade. This keeps batik colours bright for longer.

Question 16

Will the colours match the photos?

Accepted Answer

We photograph our batik in natural light, but screens differ and batik is hand-dyed, so small variations in colour and pattern are part of its character.

Question 17

Can I get advice on which product to buy?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — reach out by phone or WhatsApp and our team can help you choose a size, colour or gift.

Question 18

Do you take bulk or custom orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for weddings, events, corporate gifts and other bulk orders, contact us or use the Request a Quote page.
